Help!

My Grandad says their Got is 'Korotanay'(sp>?). He says you find them sialkot but I've never seen it anywhere online and alot of people I've spoken to have never hear of them.
Can y'all please check with your relatives or if you know somewhere I can check, because I would really like to know more about the Got. It may also be spelled 'Kaurvtanay'.

Actually KOROTANIA is a famous jatt clan amongst jatts of jammu.Like all other jatts of jmu ther are both hindus and sikh but majority being hindus.In R S Pura sector of jammu a village is named aftger this clan KOROTANA,There are a few families in Hoshiarpur area of Indian Punjab.Their JATHERA is at a place KALIBARI near Kathua in J&K
I read about their main concentration in Sialkot .If I am not wrong in my guess Korotany is a composite name Koro tanay Tanay means Son ie son of koro which is Famous Indo Iranian Dynasty .They are reffered as Koresh in Iranian literature and KURU in Indian.
